Jesus Christ is the fulfilment of the silent, messianic sheep in Isaiah 53:7. He was silent before his accusers. He was silent even as he suffered in pain and humiliation. Eventually, he faced the ultimate silence in death so that he may conquer it once and for all on our behalf.
