The Dynamic of Lament (Part 1)
Habakkuk 1:1-11
by Tan Huai Tze
Much of Habakkuk consists of an honest dialogue between the prophet and God. Habakkuk 1:1-11 records Habakkuk’s first complaint and God’s first answer. Through this, we learn that we can pour out our pain to God, and that He will answer for our good, though not as we expect Him to.
