Worship Shaped Work

Worship is the way that God takes our theology of work and makes it part of who we are and how we live. To bring work and worship together, when we gather, we bring trumpets (thanksgiving), ashes (confession), tears (lament) petitions and fruits (offering) to God.

Tracing God’s story of work from Genesis to Revelation shows us that work is good because God made us to work, work is hard because sin has broken work, but that work is being remade through Christ's finished the work of salvation. This gives us a new identity, a new mission, and a new hope for our daily labour.
