ABOUT OUR CHURCH
We are a church that is joyfully centred on the good news of Jesus Christ. Through him, we worship God, do life together, fulfil our vocation, and show mercy.
We are ordinary people, sinful and broken who have encountered an extraordinary God and his grace. Join us on this journey of faith.
SUNDAY WORSHIP
We gather to sing, pray, hear God, and celebrate his presence with us. We preach through books of a Bible in a way that we hope will speak to skeptics, seekers and saints alike.
Children are integral to our church. They join us for singing, prayer, and a short teaching segment before going to age appropriate classes during the message.
LATEST SERIES
At key points in Haggai, God calls his people to “give careful thought”: Haggai 1:5, 7; 2:15, 18 (NIV). In other words: stop, look at your life honestly, and ask, “What am I really building?”
God’s people had returned from exile, but the house of the Lord was still neglected. That revealed something deeper: they had lost their desire for God’s presence. Their lives had become ordered around survival, comfort, and their own households, while worship and obedience were pushed to the side.
Haggai reminds us that when we neglect God’s house, we do not become fuller; we become emptier. But when we seek him first, we do not lose our lives. We begin to recover what we were made for.
Let’s give careful thought to life, and learn again the joy of God’s presence, the strength of obeying him together, and the good of building something bigger than ourselves.
